Dollarama has launched online shopping for bulk sales across Canada.
Dollarama’s online platform offers upwards of 1000 products which are available by the case only, reports Strategy Online. Individual consumers can use the system, but Dollarama is aiming the online service at business customers. The online store offers products by category, and also by “activities” that represent different sectors such as catering, restaurants and hotels; event, party and wedding planning; hospitals and care facilities; schools; and general workplace.
Rates for the service will vary from place to place, but urban areas will be subject to a flat fee of $18. Delivery can also be arranged via Penguin Pickup online delivery locations.
Dollarama’s national launch of online shopping follows a five-week test launched in Québec in December, which Grocery Business reported on previously.
