Farm Boy plans to open its 38th store in Ontario on May 6. The new location is situated in downtown Toronto’s Harbourfront.

The store is 19,317 sq ft and will employ 135 people.

“We're excited to welcome customers to our Harbourfront location to get a taste of the signature Farm Boy experience,” says Jean-Louis Bellemare, president and general manager, Farm Boy. “We will continue to offer a wide range of freshly made grab-and-go options for customers looking for a quick and tasty breakfast, lunch, or dinner, as well as the freshest seasonal produce and highest quality meat options.  Our team is focused on providing our customers with an exceptional in-store experience with outstanding service that is truly ‘all about the food.’”

The store will have local farm fresh produce, Ontario fresh dairy, meat and grocery, full service hot bar and salad bar and a grill station for on-the-go options.

This location was previously a Sobeys store, and is within two blocks of a Longo's and Coppa's Fresh Market, both full service grocery stores.

Farm Boy plans to open five new locations by the end of 2021.
