FHCP supply chain event item

The importance of Canada’s food supply chain is the focus of an upcoming Food, Health and Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP) virtual event.

The annual supply chain symposium takes place on April 22 and runs from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. It will explore changes industry can expect in the coming years and the skillsets that will be required to meeting future challenges.

FHCP has invited industry experts to discuss the impact and influence of the supply chain during the current pandemic and what to expect in the post-pandemic period.

Speakers will explore e-commerce demand in light of shifting consumer preferences, the role of supply chain technology, new market models and the future workforce.

  • Evolution of Supply Chain Leadership – a panel discussion with representatives from Nestlé Canada, Sysco Canada, Bayer and Four Corners Group
  • E-commerce insights with presentations from Kantar and Sobeys Inc.’s Sarah Joyce, senior vice president of the company’s e-commerce business
