Galen Weston, president, Loblaw Companies Ltd. and Michael Medline, CEO, Empire Co. are among the "food titans" named on Maclean's annual power list, ranking the 100 Canadians shaping the country in 2023. Weston tops the list of food industry representatives, while Medline comes in at number four on the list. Other CPG and produce names among the "food titans" include Kirstin Beardsley, CEO, Food Banks Canada; Ted Fleming, CEO & founder, Partake Brewing; and Barry Murchie, CEO, GoodLeaf. The food industry ranking names 10 of the "chefs, farmers and moguls changing the way we eat and drink."
