Five grocery retailers were recognized as top achievers in the Retail Council of Canada’s 2021 Excellence in Retailing Awards. The awards were presented during RCC’s virtual gala held on Sept 14 during the organization’s STORE conference.
London Drugs and Save-On-Foods won for e-commerce experience. Federated Co-operatives Limited was recognized for its environmental leadership, while Longo’s won for its health, safety and wellness initiatives. Sobeys received the philanthropic leadership award.

They are constantly innovating and proving their winning creativity," says Diane J. Brisebois, president and CEO of Retail Council of Canada. "The year's ERA recipients have demonstrated ingenuity and steadfast commitment to superior customer service, progressive business solutions, and operational leadership."
