Venture-backed grocery companies have raised more than $10 billion in 2021 according to a story by CNBC.

Based on data from Pitchbook, investors have poured billions of dollars into on-demand grocery delivery firms but the increasingly crowded digital grocery delivery market is likely to see consolidation according to retail experts, and companies like Amazon and retail giants could be among the buyers.
