U.S. ready-to-eat meal delivery service Factor is launching in Canada. Hello Fresh acquired the business in November 2020 and will be supporting the Canadian launch starting in Ontario.

Factor has been available in the U.S. since 2012 and says it is that country's largest ready-to-heat meal brand. Factor is launching in Ontario with a national roll-out planned for the coming months. 

"This is convenience without compromise," explains Conal Gould, general manager, Factor Canada. "With Factor, made-from-scratch, chef-prepared meals are delivered fresh to your door every week - all you need to do is heat and eat." 

Food is delivered fresh, not frozen and is ready to eat in just minutes, according to Factor.

Consumers can choose from more than 10 recipes available weekly at factormeals.ca. Meals are available in 6, 8, 10, 12 and 18-serving boxes starting at a price of $12 per serving. Factor says there is no lock-in subscription and users can skip and pause deliveries at any time.
