Francesco Galati, who founded Galati Brothers Supermarkets with Tony Galati in 1958, has passed away.
The two brothers ran a small chain of supermarkets in Toronto. Some of the stores were later rebranded as Galati Market Fresh.
Today, the remaining Galati Market Fresh in north Toronto is run by third generation Galati family, Robert and Grace.
