Kruger Big Assist Recipients April 6

Kruger Products has announced its first ten recipients of a $10,000 award for minor hockey associations in Canada.

The award is to cover cost of registration for families that need assistance.

Kruger also announced five additional recipients, bringing the Kruger Big Assist funding to $150,000.

“It’s been a difficult year for Canada’s hockey families, and our goal is to support their love and participation in our national sport,” says Susan Irving, chief marketing officer of Kruger Products.

The winners are:

West Colchester Minor Hockey — West Colchester, N.S.

Association du Hockey Mineur Sept—Îles — Sept—Îles, Que.

Association Hockey Féminin Valleé De Gatineau — Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, Que.

Ottawa East Minor Hockey — Ottawa, Ont.

Hamilton Girls Hockey — Hamilton, Ont.

Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey — Bruce Peninsula, Ont.

McCreary Minor Hockey — McCreary, Man.

Peace River Minor Hockey — Peace River, Alta.

Hay River Minor Hockey — Hay River, N.W.T.

Abbotsford Minor Hockey — Abbotsford, B.C.

The final five Canadian hockey associations are not yet named.
