William Right is associate merchant at Loblaw Companies Limited, a member of Canada’s Armed Forces and a musician and composer.
On November 4th, Right’s military unit, the Governor General’s Horse Guards, celebrated its 59th Memorial Dinner, in its 200th Year of continuous service. Right described the event as “a time to pay respects to the Fallen, who paid the ultimate sacrifice.”
At the event, Right presented Trooper Ed Stafford with a copy of “Seventy Years,” Rights's 11-song album for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, on which Stafford is featured on the first track. Right describes Stafford as one of his heroes, "still going strong in his 102nd year." Stafford fought with the Horse Guards during the Italian Campaign during WWII and assisted in its liberation.
