Loblaw Companies Ltd and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) have joined forces in an initiative to encourage planting at home.

More than 120 Loblaw garden centres in Ontario will have native plants labeled with the “In the Zone” plant tag.

These plants help native species and animals, are low maintenance and support a vast diversity of wildlife.

Due to the lockdown, gardening businesses have been reporting a boost in sales, as some Canadians are gardening for the first time.
