Loblaw Companies has won Silver in the “Out of the box retail” category of the 2022 Shopper Innovation + Activation Awards by Strategy Online for its "PC Holiday Insiders Report Living Page" by CitizenXM, Citizen Relations, & Loblaw Agency.

The campaign involved taking the “2021 PC Insiders Report Holiday edition” off the page and transforming it into a real-life experience, making the book’s content come alive through interactive 3D Hologram Technology. The in-store activation “brought to life” the pages of the PC Insiders Report Holiday edition with a large interactive event for their customers that travelled to three key markets and three different banners. They built a large-scale replica of a double-page spread of the book, complete with a built-in sampling station and brought in a new form of Hologram technology which was the first telepresence hologram in Canada. Upon entering the store, brand ambassadors handed out copies of the PC Insiders Report Holiday edition and encouraged customers to visit the activation, where customers could also scan a QR code that took them directly to the digital copy of the report.
