Longo's Fore Kids' Sake Charity Golf Tournament cancelled

Longo Brothers Fruit Markets has cancelled its popular charity golf event, the Fore Kids' Sake Charity Golf Tournment, because of the current COVID-19 crisis. This is the first time in its 31-year golf tournament history that the event has been cancelled.

Despite not hosting the event, the company says it will continue to support charities through its Longo's Family Charitable Foundation with investments in the areas of. healthcare, mental health and child and youth leadershiip development initiatives.

Longo's recently committed over $135,000 to 10 local hospitals across the GTA in support of COVID-19 emergency needs.

Of note, in the area of food security, Longo’s will corporately continue its commitment to providing food to those in need through ongoing relationships with local food banks.

If you wish to do so, we invite you to join us in support of these causes. Recognizing that this is a difficult time for everyone, we fully appreciate and understand that recovery and budget constraints take precedent.

Donations will receive a 100% tax receipt and can be made securely online at LongosCharityGolf.com.

Longo's has scheduled next year's date for June 15, 2021 at Lionhead Golf Club.
