M&M Food Market has teamed up with grocery delivery specialist Instacart to launch a pilot program in 20 of its stores across Canada. The pilot program will give customers the ability to place orders with M&M using Instacart’s web site or its mobile app, according to an article in Strategy Online.
M&M CEO Andy O’Brien says the delivery pilot is part of M&M’s broader strategy of revamping its product range, store design and shopping experience. The delivery service also fits in with M&M’s brand mission, which O’Brien says is to help Canadians “put delicious, restaurant quality meals on the table” in convenient and time-efficient ways.
The article also covers Metro’s expansion of its grocery delivery service, as well as Sobeys’ launch of Voilà by Sobeys, both previously reported by Grocery Business.
