McCain opens expanded $650 M potato production line

McCain Foods (Canada) has expanded its potato processing plant with a new $650 million potato specialty production line in Florenceville-Bristol, NB. The new 35,000 sq ft line is the largest in close to ten years for the company.

“Florenceville continues to be the French fry capital of the world. The official opening of the new production line reflects McCain’s ongoing commitment to invest in the needs of our consumers and customers today, and also the company’s focus towards future product development and innovation,” said Jeff DeLapp, President, North America, McCain Foods Ltd.
