McDonald's Canada has announced plans to expand McDelivery through a partnership with food delivery company SkipTheDishes.
McDelivery with SkipTheDishes will launch this month in select cities in Western Canada and will roll out across the country by the end of 2018. The full menu at participating McDonald's restaurants will be available for delivery with the exception of soft serve cones. Coupons, mobile offers and promotional offers are excluded from delivery.
The partnership is the latest expansion of delivery for McDonald's which, along with its franchisees, has been making changes to the customer experience in its stores in Canada and around the world. The company also recently announced the addition of mobile ordering, as well as table service and self-order kiosks.
"We are excited to partner with SkipTheDishes as we continue to grow our McDelivery business and expand McDelivery into even more cities across the country," said Dan Logan, delivery director, McDonald's Canada. "McDelivery continues to be an exciting way for us to connect with our guests outside the restaurant and an opportunity for us to deliver a personalized and convenient guest experience."
McDonald's Canada currently offers McDelivery in more than 500 locations in Canada.
