Metro Inc. sells MissFresh to Cook it

Metro Inc. has announced it is selling MissFresh to Cook it, a Montreal ready-to-cook meal company.

This combination of two young complementary Montreal companies will consolidate Quebec'sexpertise in ready-to-cook meals and allow it to continue to grow. Cook it will now serve both its current and MissFresh customers.

Customers will be able to continue to pick up their ready-to-cook meals at participating Metro stores.

Metro Inc. has annual sales of more than $16 billion and operates more than 600 food stores under the Metro, Metro Plus, Super C and Food Basics bannners, as well as more than 650 drugstores primarily under the Jean Coutu, Brunet, Metro Pharmacy and Drug Basics banner
