Nesters Market plans to open one of its largest grocery stores yet in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant district.
The 30,000 square foot location is slated to open early next year in The Independent at Main, a new 21-storey mixed use building, reports Daily Hive. The store will be on the second level and have its own ground-level entrance.
Nesters market is operated by a division of the Jim Pattison Group that also operates the Meinhardt and Buy-Low Foods brands. The Kingsgate Mall next to the new nesters location already has a Buy-Low Foods location, which the company says will stay open after the opening of the new Nesters Market.
