Ontario’s minister of labour, trade and skills development, Monte McNaughton, and MPP Deepak Anand visited CJR Wholesale Grocers (warehouse) and Dairy Central’s facility in Mississauga. Both dignitaries received a tour of the facility and met with employees.
The visit is part of an effort by the minister and his team to meet with workers across the province and in various industries to learn about the challenges they face and how the government can support them coming out of this protracted pandemic period. Specifically: how Ontario can do a better job training workers and supporting their families to help drive our economic recovery and how we can strengthen Ontario’s competitive position as the best place in North America to recruit, retain and reward workers.
