The Ontario government has invested nearly $1 million into self-driving grocery delivery trucks in partnership with Gatik.

Gatik, an autonomous technology company, received the investment through Ontario’s Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Network.

This is the first of its kind in Canada.

The investment will help prepare the autonomous trucks for winter and accelerate testing.

Gatik has been testing the trucks in the GTA in partnership with Loblaw Companies to move products between locations, read more here.
