PC Express, the President’s Choice click-and-collect service, has opened its first standalone store location in Toronto.
The 150,000 square foot location is located in the downtown West End of Toronto, in a neighbourhood with a high proportion of condo dwellers. The store houses grocery and everyday living products from Real Canadian Superstore. Shoppers shop digitally and can then pick up their orders at the new store with the help of an on-site attendant.
“Early adoption is exceeding every expectation,” says Lauren Steinberg, vice president product, UX and digital marketing for Loblaw Digital in an online post. “Superstore prices in an urban centre, with white glove service and the ‘in your lobby’ convenience condo-dwellers love.”
Steinberg says this store is “just the beginning” for PC Express.
