Peak of the Market Ltd. has donated $10,000 toward the St. John Ambulance “Building on a Caring Tradition” capital campaign. “For growers, community is at the heart of what we do, every day, all year long. While our focus is on feeding communities, we are very proud to be able to support others doing their important work. We see it as a win-win. We are in the fortunate position to help others who, in turn help those in our community a crucial time in their life,” said Peter Loewen, chair of the board of directors, Peak of the Market.
St. John Ambulance is part of the world’s oldest charitable organization which was founded close to 1,000 years ago. In Canada, St. John Ambulance has done important work for nearly 140 years. They have been committed to serving communities and, more importantly, saving lives. In our province, St. John Ambulance trains over 22,000 Manitobans a year in First Aid and CPR.
