Mucci Farms has acquired controlling interest in Leamington, Ont. based Orangeline Farms, including its existing greenhouse and warehouse facilities, and additional land with plans for expansion. Following the announcement, Mucci farms also announced its own additional expansion plans in Canada and the U.S., including a new 25 acre spread adjacent to its 60 acre property in Huron, OH.
Founded in 2000 by the Kniaziew family, Orangeline Farms is an award-winning grower predominantly known for their pepper offerings grown under the Zing! Healthy Foods brand. Mucci Farms plans to continue to use the Zing brand for the foreseeable future. It is also pushing ahead with expansion of Orangeline Farms’ existing acreage.
