B.C. based grocery chain Save-On-Foods is opening two new stores in Winnipeg, Man.

Customers can expect its traditional grocery offerings and Save-On-Foods Smokehouse products, a floral department and kitchen grab and go items.

Save-On-Foods opened its first three Winnipeg stores in 2016 and recently awarded Marcella Chartrand $100,000 after Winnipeg Jet Andrew Copp scored four goals.

“Since 2016, the city of Winnipeg has fully embraced Save-On-Foods and we could not be more excited to offer our customers more of the products and unique service they’ve come to know and love,” says Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones. ”Giving Marcella her $100,000 prize in March was a fantastic experience and we can’t wait to give all of our customers in Winnipeg the best shopping experience in the West with the opening of these two beautiful new stores.”

Save-On-Foods now has 184 stores in Canada, 40 of which have opened in the last five years.

“I know I speak for my entire team when I say we can’t wait to open our doors and welcome our new neighbours to this amazing new store,” says Save-On-Foods Pembina Crossing store manager Alex Speckman. “We are excited to share this fantastic shopping experience with them and strengthen our relationships with our customers and community.”
