Save-On-Foods’ team members, customers and supplier partners raised more than $2 million for BC Children’s Hospital over the past year. Save-On-Foods president Darrell Jones (pictured, blue shirt) presented the donation during the charity’s Miracle Weekend telethon.
“Our generous team members, customers and suppliers have embraced our company’s commitment to improving child health in B.C. and across Western Canada, and another successful year of their creative fundraisers proves how much BC Children’s Hospital means to our communities,” Jones said.
The Langley-based food retailer has donated a total of $30 million to the charity over the past three decades and has pledged another $15 million to help the hospital foundation build an immunization clinic.
