Mike Wilson, “The Ultimate Leafs Fan” is world famous for his one-of-a-kind collection of Maple Leafs memorabilia, which includes such gems as a Paul Henderson stick from the 1972 Summit Series and the “lost” Leafs 1962 Stanley Cup banner. Wilson’s events raise money for a variety of charitable causes and the biggest names in hockey, including greats, Wayne Gretzky and Bobby Orr have all visited the gallery. And now, added to that visitor list, are key members of Canada’s grocery industry.
Organized by Jim Slomka from Clorox Canada, the memorable event included industry veterans Bill Ivany, Tree of Life; Bill Dunne, former president of Acosta Canada; Larry Denley, Kisko; Mike Marinangeli, Mideb Consulting; Clorox’s James Cleary, Scott MacLaughlin, Brian Smith plus Mike Lesperance; and Grocery Business’s Dan Bordun and Kevin Smith as well as several retail executives.
