Unilever says it plans to top advertising on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram through the end of the year.

First reported in The Wall Street Journal, the company issued a statement that said “…starting now through at least the end of the year, we will not run brand advertising in social media newsfeed platforms on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in the U.S.” It said it would maintain 2020 ad spending levels, but shift its budget to other media.
