Grocery store chain Stop & Shop plans to begin testing self-driving grocery delivery vehicles in Boston this spring.

The pilot program, which will use vehicles manufactured by San Francisco based Robomart, combines the features of autonomous vehicles, cashierless stores and meal kits, reports The Verge.

The vehicles will deliver produce, convenience items and meal kits directly to shoppers’ homes. They will be controlled remotely from a Robomart facility. The service will be accessible via an app similar to what Uber uses.
