Amazon has launched its AmazonFresh Pickup service in two Seattle, Wash., locations: Ballard and SODO.
The new Pickup service is free for Amazon Prime members who can do their shopping online and then collect their groceries at either of the two depots in as little as 15 minutes. Non-AmazonFresh members will have to wait at least two hours before going to collect their orders.
Amazon has been testing the service with employees over the last couple of months and it could be rolled out beyond Seattle to cities such Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Boston, where AmazonFresh delivery is already up and running, according to a Digital Trends report.
