Dr. Heather Morrison P.E.I

P.E.I residents between 18-29 years of age who work at convenience stores, gas stations and grocery stores can book COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

Dr. Heather Morrison, P.E.I’s chief public health officer, confirmed this in her weekly COVID-19 update. They will be administering AstraZeneca’s vaccine shot.

Morrison says that 78 per cent of outbreaks have involved those aged 18-29.

This news follows an earlier announcement of vaccine rollouts for young people working in food service.
