The Ontario Food Terminal Board has named Christy McMullen of Summerhill Market as new vice chair and John Den Boer of Den Boer Family Farms as a director.
McMullen is past chair of the Canadian Federal of Independent Grocers (CFIG) and a board member of the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre.
Den Boer worked in the produce and grocery industries in the Netherlands before moving to Canada to set up and run the family farm, now managed by his son and daughter-in-law.
