The Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) has been awarded a Gold Hermes Award for their Greenhouse Goodness digital campaign.

The Greenhouse Goodness campaign was launched in major U.S. markets to educate consumers on the benefits of choosing greenhouse-grown peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. The campaign “This is Greenhouse Goodness”, emphasizes fresh, healthy and convenient produce options that promote a feel-good lifestyle.

“The Greenhouse Goodness campaign highlights the high standards and innovative practices of our growers,” says Richard Lee, executive director of OGVG. “We are dedicated to educating consumers and promoting the advantages of greenhouse-grown produce, reinforcing our position as an industry leader.”

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional and emerging media.

Developed in collaboration with Douglas Marketing Group (DMG), the campaign is part of a broader strategy targeting the Atlantic U.S. The plan includes social media influencers, online advertising, retail education and point-of-sale promotions.

The campaign’s key messages focused on the promise of nutritious, fresh and sustainable produce. Greenhouse-grown vegetables offer consumers consistent quality and flavorful varieties of peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

“The Greenhouse Goodness campaign was developed in alignment with the values and mission of the Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers. It aims to educate and create industry awareness, showcasing the key benefits of greenhouse-grown vegetables. The Association has a strong mandate, dedicated members, and an exceptional product that North America can be proud of,” says Kay Douglas, president of DMG.
