CHFA makes senior appointments in government relations and regulatory affairs

Sonia Parmar has joined the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) as vice president, government relations and regulatory affairs. Her most recent prior role was director of policy and strategic planning of the Treasury Board Secretariat. Parmar has over 15 years of experience working with Health Canada.

Ashley Cornell has joined CHFA as director of regulatory affairs. She comes from The Valens Company where she worked in quality assurance and regulatory affairs.

Before that, Cornell worked for CannTrust, and Kraft Heinz.
