Save-On-Foods makes executive management changes


Save-On-Foods is making changes to its organizational structure at the executive and vice president level to support the company’s growth strategy.

Wayne Currie, senior vice president of IT, supply chain and ecommerce, who announced he plans to retire in May 2021, assumes the role of senior vice president, special projects.

Jamie Nelson, executive vice president, now oversees the digital and analytics areas of Save-On-Foods, in addition to his current responsibilities.

Paul Hazra, executive vice president of finance, takes on the role of chief financial officer. He adds IT and the development of an Enterprise Planning function to his portfolio.

Mike Olson, senior vice president of merchandising, will take on a new role as senior vice president, business development, supply chain and innovation. He will now assume accountability for all third-party partnerships, supply chain and inventory management.

Brenda Kirk, senior vice president of health, wellness and brands, takes over as senior vice president, merchandising.

Save-On-Foods has also promoted five senior leaders.

Dan Hansen, general manager of centre of store, assumes the role of vice president, centre of store, and will play a critical role supporting Brenda Kirk in her new role.

Paul Cope, vice president of Save-On-Foods B.C., will assume the role of senior vice president, retail operations for all banners including, Save-On-Foods, Urban Fare PriceSmart Foods and Bulkley Valley Wholesale. Cope will also oversee e-commerce operations.

With Cope’s promotion Ben Harrack, vice president of Prairie operations, will take on the position of vice president, Save-On-Foods, B.C. operations.

Heidi Ferriman, vice president of people and communications, has been promoted to senior vice president, people and corporate affairs.

Mona Kragh, managing director of finance, will take on the role of vice president, finance and enterprise planning.

Andy Donaher, managing director of data and analytics, will take on the role of vice president, digital analytics. Donaher will take on management of the company’s e-commerce platform.
