DanoneWave names Dan Magliocco to senior marketing role

August 10, 2017 - DanoneWave has appointed Dan Magliocco (pictured) as senior vice-president, marketing, strategy and insights for the company's portfolio of dairy brands in Canada.

Previously, Magliocco was president of Mondelez Canada, a role he held after the company was spun off from Kraft in October 2012. Prior to that, Magliocco held senior roles with Kraft and Nabisco Canada.

DanoneWave also announced that Paul Hogan, who had previously been vice-president of sales for Danone’s dairy business in Canada, will retain that role for the new DanoneWave unit.

DanoneWave is a new North American business created in April following Danone’s acquisition of WhiteWave Foods. The brand portfolio includes Activia, Oikos, DanActive, Silk and So Delicious, Danone, Danino, Vega, Dannon, Earthbound Farm, Horizon, Wallaby and International Delight.
