Grant Froese appointed CEO of Marquee Health Group

August 24, 2017 - Grocery retail veteran Grant Froese is joining Marquee Health Group Limited as CEO. In his new role, Froese will lead all operations, marketing and financial reporting for the Hamilton, Ont.-based company in the emerging regulated cannabis therapy industry.

In April, Froese retired from his role as chief operating officer at Loblaw Companies Limited, after a 38-year career where he led all levels of operations and merchandising, and oversaw information technology, supply chain, digital/e-commerce businesses and marketing.

Marquee Health Group is in the final regulatory stages of becoming a provider of cannabis for medical and, prospectively, adult recreational use.
