Liam Sobey has been named vice president of merchandising – grocery at Sobeys.
Sobey started at Thrifty Foods in 2010 as an assistant store manager and then store manager. He served as a category manager at Sobeys, working his way up through a series of successively more senior positions. Prior to his current appointment, Sobey was national director merchandising, grocery.
