Marie-Eve Royer is the new president of Bimbo Canada. She succeeds Joseph McCarthy, who has assumed a newly created role at Bimbo Bakeries USA after five years leading Bimbo Canada.

Royer has more than 20 years of experience at Bimbo Canada and most recently served as senior vice president of business transformation. 

She began her career with Maple Leaf Foods in the Leadership Trainee Program; Maple Leaf Foods sold the Canada Bread business to Grupo Bimbo in 2014.  She has held leadership roles in Commercial Strategy, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales and Foodservice in Canada and the United Kingdom.
