Mark Ayer joins Crossmark Canada as SVP, customer development

April 18, 2017 – Crossmark Canada has appointed Mark Ayer to the position of senior vice-president of customer development. Ayer joins the company from The Kraft Heinz Company where he was general manager, foodservice, Canada.

Ayer began his career as a sales rep in 1989 with Kraft Canada. He spent the next 15 years progressing through various roles in the sales organization before leaving for Gillette in 2004 where he served as vice-president sales and country manager. He joined Procter & Gamble in 2005 and spent the next five years in marketing and sales leadership roles in Canada and Asia before becoming vice-president, sales for P&G Canada in 2010. Mark rejoined Kraft Canada in 2014 to lead the Canadian sales organization. 

In a release, the company noted that Ayer’s 28 years of sales and marketing experience within the CPG and food and beverage industries, will allow Crossmark Canada to increase its presence across multiple channels nationally.
