Mars Petcare Canada is announcing the addition of two new members to its Canadian leadership team with the appointment of Mike Martinello as VP of sales and Fawad Farrukh as head of marketing.
Starting his career with Mars in 2013, Mike Martinello joined the business with a focus on partnering with customers and retailers to drive category growth. Before Mars, Martinello held roles at Imperial Tobacco Canada, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, and Staples Inc.
Also joining Mars Petcare Canada, Fawad Farrukh has been appointed as head of marketing. Farrukh joins Mars from General Mills. Before this, Farrukh was the consumer and market strategy manager for Procter & Gamble West Asia and Africa.
