Danielle Barran, president, North America Potato Division and Canada at McCain Foods, has joined The Grocery Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Barran joins many other grocery industry leaders on the board actively promoting and participating in the Foundation’s mission to raise funds for hungry school-aged children.
For more than 40 years, the Foundation has brought together a diverse community of retailers, manufacturers and companies. With their support and the support of the public, the Foundation has raised more than $90 million since its inception. Known for its annual Night to Nurture Gala, Toonies for Tummies campaign and School Breakfast program, the Foundation works with student nutrition programs across Western Canada, Ontario and Atlantic Canada to help hungry children access healthy foods in a stigma free environment.
