Mike Thomson is retiring as VP of grocery merchandising at Metro Ontario on September 24th and will be succeeded by Ray Hepworth who is currently the director of merchandising planning and analytics, customer intelligence at Metro.
Thomson has spent 37 years in the business in executive roles at Metro, De’s Pastry, Canada Bread and Loblaw.
Ray Hepworth has 27 years in the industry including executive roles at GS1 Canada, Sobeys, Sears Canada, and Loblaw.
