Michael McCain, CEO of Maple Leaf Foods, has been appointed executive chair of the board and will continue his CEO role for the next year as part of a phased leadership transition.
Curtis Frank, currently president and COO, will become president and CEO in the spring of 2023. Curtis has been in his current role since 2018.
Geoff Beattie, who has been on the company’s board since 2008 and chair since 2019, is stepping down as chair and has been appointed as an independent lead director.
