Retail Council of Canada has announced the appointment of Michael Zabaneh as its new vice president, sustainability. Zabaneh is a sustainable business expert with over 20 years of experience across Canada, Europe, MENA, and Asia.
Most recently, Zabaneh was director, sustainability at GFL Environmental where he worked to develop and implement ESG and circular economy strategies, programs and reporting at a corporate level.
