Plant-Based Foods of Canada has announced the appointment of Dror Balshine, president and founder of Sol Cuisine as PBFC advisory board chair. Balshine previously held the position of vice-chair, he is a strong advocate for the plant-based foods industry and has witnessed an enormous increase in consumer interest in these categories, according to PBFC.

He replaces Sandi Hester, from Tree of Life, who is leaving the organization to pursue new opportunities.

Michael Lines, president and CEO of Wellness Natural Inc. along with Adam Grogan, COO of Greenleaf Foods assume vice-chair roles.
