Curtis Frank, president and COO of Maple Leaf Foods, has announced changes to the company’s senior leadership team. Frank will step into the new role of president and CEO in the spring of 2023, as announced earlier this year, with Michael McCain stepping back as CEO to focus on his role as executive chair.

Frank says as a next generation leader he wants to “leverage our world-class network of assets and our talented team of passionate people to deliver transformational results and create shared value for all our stakeholders as we accelerate and elevate our bold ambition to become the most sustainable protein company on earth.”

Leadership changes include Casey Richards, senior vice president of marketing being promoted to a newly created role of president and chief growth officer.

Ian Stewart, senior vice president of operations and supply chain, moves into another newly created role of chief supply chain officer.

Adam Grogan, president of Maple Leaf Foods’ subsidiary Greenleaf Foods, SPC, is now the president of alternative protein.

Jumoke Fagbemi joins the company in January, 2023 as senior vice president, people.

Patrick Lutfy, vice president of marketing, is promoted to senior vice president of marketing.
