Senior leadership changes at PepsiCo Canada

After almost 33 years with PepsiCo, Robert Foy, vice president food service, PepsiCo Canada, has decided to retire.

Patrick Charbonneau will assume the role of vice president food service, PepsiCo Canada. Charbonneau joined PepsiCo Canada in 1997 and has held progressive roles on both the foods and beverages sides of the business and most recently serving as vice president field sales, PepsiCo Beverages Canada. In this role, Charbonneau led the newly created field structure to success after transitioning from leading the Eastern Canada Market. Charbonneau is active in the industry as a board director of the Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association (QBCRA) and is a member of the Canadian Beverage Association (CBA) – Quebec chapter and the Quebec Chamber of Commerce Federation. He also volunteers and fundraises for Run for the Cure, Movember, and Sun Youth Montreal. Patrick will continue to be based in Montreal with his wife Caroline and his three kids Erika, Victoria and William.

Eric Smith will step into the role of vice president field sales, PepsiCo Beverages Canada. In this role, he will lead the National Field Sales team agenda and deliver PepsiCo Beverages Canada’s growth aspirations. Smith joined PepsiCo in 2007 growing his career with a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, he held the role of senior director of field sales, Ontario where he led the way in driving operational excellence and topline growth in Toronto and Ontario.
