Shelley Martin, Nestlé Canada president and CEO has announced her decision to retire effective July 31. Martin has been president and CEO for five years and was twice named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network. She also received the Food Industry of Canada’s 2017 Golden Pencil Award.
Jeff Hamilton, currently president, Nestlé Foods Division at Nestlé USA, will replace Shelley as president and CEO of Nestlé Canada effective August 1. He joined Nestlé Purina Petcare in 1991 and came to Canada in 2012 to eventually lead Nestlé Purina Petcare. In 2014, Hamilton was appointed president of Prepared Foods at Nestlé USA, and in 2017 he took on the leadership of the entire Foods Division.
