Dan Magliocco and Karla Schlieper

The Grocery Foundation has added Dan Magliocco, president of Danone Canada and Karla Schlieper, president of Mondelez Canada to its board of directors.

Magliocco is a food industry veteran with over 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Danone, Magliocco served as president of Mondelez Canada and held senior leadership roles at Kraft Foods Canada and Nabisco Canada.

Schlieper has worked at Mondelez Canada for nine years. An industry veteran of over 20 years, she has also held roles at Flora, and Unilever.

They will join an esteemed group of industry leaders actively contributing to the Foundation’s strategic direction and mission to raise funds benefiting hungry school-aged children. For over 40 years, The Foundation has served a unique role in bringing together a diverse community of retailers, manufacturers and companies that enable Canada’s consumer products and grocery industry.
