Walmart Inc. has promoted Kathryn McLay to president and CEO of its international business. McLay’s prior role was CEO of the company’s Sam’s Club unit. She succeeds Judith McKenna, who is reportedly retiring after 27 years with the company.
McLay joined Walmart in 2015. Before that, she held various roles at Woolworths Limited in Australia—where she is from—for close to 14 years.
